What VideoSave Is
VideoSave is a free, browser-based tool that lets you look up a publicly available video from YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook by pasting its link, and then download a copy of that video (or its audio) to your own device. It is provided "as is," free of charge, with no account or sign-up required. VideoSave is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Google, Meta, ByteDance, or any of their parent or affiliated companies.
No Data Collection by VideoSave
VideoSave does not require registration and does not collect personal information to operate the service. Video links you submit are used only to process that specific request and are not stored, logged against your identity, or sold. The site does use Google Analytics for aggregate traffic statistics and Google AdSense to display advertising; both are described in full in the Privacy Policy, which should be read alongside these terms.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use VideoSave only for videos you own, have explicit permission to download, or are otherwise legally entitled to save — for example, for personal offline viewing, backup, or use covered by fair use or a similar exception in your jurisdiction. You agree not to use VideoSave to download copyrighted content for the purpose of redistribution, resale, public performance, or any use that infringes the rights of the content's owner. You also agree not to use VideoSave in any way that violates the terms of service of the platform the video is hosted on, attempts to circumvent access restrictions (such as private or age-restricted content), or involves automated, high-volume scraping of the service.
Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for how you use any file downloaded through VideoSave, and for ensuring that your use complies with applicable copyright law and the terms of service of the originating platform. VideoSave provides the technical means to save a video you already have lawful access to view; it does not grant you any additional rights to that content, and it is not a substitute for obtaining permission from a rights holder when permission is required.
No Warranty
VideoSave is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Video lookups and downloads depend on the availability and behavior of third-party platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook), which can change at any time without notice; VideoSave does not guarantee that any specific video, quality, or format will always be available, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VideoSave and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the service. This includes, without limitation, any claim arising from content you download or how you subsequently use it.
Copyright and Takedown Requests
VideoSave respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the service to do the same. If you are a rights holder and believe VideoSave has been used to facilitate infringement of your copyrighted work, you may contact pemodeveloper@gmail.com with details of the concern.
Third-Party Services (Google Analytics and Google AdSense)
VideoSave integrates Google Analytics for traffic measurement and Google AdSense for advertising. Your use of the site constitutes acknowledgment that these third-party services may place cookies and collect standard technical data as described in the Privacy Policy and governed by Google's own terms and privacy policy. VideoSave does not control how Google's services process this data beyond the configuration described on this site.
Changes to the Service or These Terms
VideoSave may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, and may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to the service or applicable law. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
